4th February 2008. Langley Holdings PLC published its IFRS Annual Report & Accounts for 2007 today, consolidating worldwide revenues of around .5 billion Euros, from over 40 trading companies employing almost 2,500 people in 17 jurisdictions around the world - all in just 4 weeks from the end of the financial period.
In an up-beat Chairman’s Statement, Mr. Tony Langley said that 2007 was “another successful year”, with revenues and profits producing one of the strongest trading results in the group’s 30+ year history. Key divisions reported a record carry over of orders at the year end and the group acquired the Bradman Lake Group in October a packaging technologies specialist servicing the food industry.
Langley also said that although 2008 held excellent prospects for the group, with order books at records levels, he cautioned that the full implications of the 2007 financial crisis are still to unfold, but went on to say the Group has a strong cash position and will be looking for further acquisitions in the current year.
